MeowBit ("we", "us", or "our") built the ClipDash: AI Clipboard Manager app as a Free/Freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by MeowBit and is intended for use "as is".
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
ClipDash is designed to be local-first. Clipboard entries you save or that the app captures — including text, links, images, titles, categories, tags, favorites, and related settings — are stored in the app's local storage on your device by default.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools to monitor your personal usage. Some optional features use cloud services, such as AI generation, Google Drive backup, sign-in, or purchase verification. ClipDash does not store your privacy-sensitive clipboard content in our cloud services.
AI features are optional and are used only when you request them, such as generating a title or suggesting tags. The content needed for the AI action may be processed through ClipDash's cloud service or the AI provider you configure. ClipDash does not store privacy-sensitive clipboard content from AI requests.
Your custom API keys and AI settings are stored in encrypted secure storage on your device where supported by the operating system.
Some cloud features, such as built-in AI and Google Drive backup, may require Google sign-in. Sign-in is used only to provide the selected feature and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
ClipDash may offer local backup and Google Drive cloud backup. Backup is optional and controlled by you.
Google Drive backup stores backup files in your own Google Drive app data folder. ClipDash does not store your backup files in our cloud services. Please keep local backup files private because they may contain clipboard history.
ClipDash requests internet access for optional online features. The app may also request permissions needed for core features, such as the floating clipboard window, notifications, backup import/export, Google Drive backup, and haptic feedback.
ClipDash does not store privacy-sensitive clipboard content, custom API keys, backup files, or payment card details in our cloud services.
ClipDash may offer one-time purchases, premium unlocks, and point packs for built-in AI. Payments are processed by Google Play; we do not receive or store your payment card details.
Depending on the features you choose to use, ClipDash may interact with third-party services including Google Sign-In, Google Drive, Google Play, and AI model providers. These services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
Local clipboard history and settings remain on your device until you delete them, uninstall the app, or clear app data. You can choose not to enable optional cloud features, and you can contact us to request deletion of data associated with your ClipDash cloud account.
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
